Useful help for families after childbirth
Mothers are released very early from hospital with their child. At home begins – despite the joy about the newborn child – a turbulence time for the young parents.
The laundry persists and siblings feel unnoticed. No time for shopping and the father has to go to work again. Lucky are all who have support of family and friends.
Who needs help gets it of:
"wellcome – useful help for families after childbirth"
During the first weeks and months you will get individual help from a volunteer. She comes to you once or twice a week for 2 or 3 hours and relieves you, gives you free time to relax and recovery.
The “welcome” volunteer watches over the sleep of your baby when you rest, is busy with the brother or sister or brings it to the kindergarten or escorts you and your children to the pediatrist and assists in the household and pays attention to what you say unhurriedly.
If you want this help please contact Gabriele Lüttmer.
For connection to a volunteer we charge 10 €, for the subsequent assistance we charge up to 5 € per hour.
Would you work as a volunteer?
You will learn more about the work in a personal interview. To support your commitment there are regular meetings with other volunteers, contact to the "welcome"-coordinator and further trainings free of charge. You are insured, travel expenses will be refund.
